Admissions
School tours for prospective families will begin in September , providing an opportunity to explore our campus, meet our educators, and experience our unique learning environment. To begin the admissions process, please complete the online application. Submitting your application in advance allows us to better understand your child’s needs and helps us streamline the tour scheduling process.

Admissions Overview
September 1 – Sibling applications for current and returning families are due.
September – Admission process begins for the following fall.
November 1 – Applications from new families must be submitted.
November – Priority enrollment period ends; rolling admissions begin in March, based on availability.
Children must turn two years old on or before September 1 to enroll in our Toddler program.
Partial scholarships are available for families demonstrating financial need.
Preference for morning class placement is given to siblings of current morning program students.
Putnam Indian Field School welcomes applicants regardless of race, color, creed, gender, or ethnicity.
School Tours
Tours of our campus are offered throughout the year on an individual basis by appointment and are an essential part of our admission process. During your visit, you and your child will have the opportunity to see the classrooms and shared spaces indoors, as well as our outdoor play yards. We will explain our philosophy and the routines of a typical day, and answer any questions you may have. There is no testing involved, and you and your child will not be separated. How to Apply
Interested families should submit a PIFS admission application online along with a small photo of the prospective student, a copy of their birth certificate, and the $75 application fee.
